Lucía Conte is a professor of Medieval and Modern Jewish History at Universitat Pompeu Fabra. Her current research focuses on the history of early Hebrew printing in Híjar (Spain) and Jewish heritage recovery. She has published several articles on these subject matters. She has conducted research at Université de Toulouse-Le Mirail and the Jewish Theological Seminary of America-Columbia University and is a member of the Society for Sefardic Studies at the Hebrew University of Jerusalem, the Association for Jewish Studies and the European Association for Jewish Studies. Lucía Conte is a scientific assessor for the strategic plan “Aragón Sefarad: Legado y Memoria”, project sponsored by the Government of Aragon. She has also specialized in the design and implementation of cultural and academic field study tours of Jewish Heritage in Spain for both private and public institutions and is the president of the Jewish culture network Tarbut Sefarad.
